P4: Idea for new Social Media

Idea 1

Purpose
This app would be used to hep unsigned bands and artist advertise their shows and help gain a bigger crowd. It would also helps fans finds new music and small shows to attend.

Format/Style/Content
There would be 2 lot in options, 'as a fan' or 'as an artist'. Once logged in, artist can put up any upcoming shows they are doing and edit their profile for any new fans to view. They can include a short bio, links to any music of theirs or other social media that the may have. When logged in as a fan, the user would be able to RSVP to shows, follow artists that they like to receive updates on any new gigs.

Target User
This app would probably be targeted people between the ages of about 16 - 24. It would appeal most to people who are big music fans, they could potentially be big fans of a specific genre and are trying to support that particular music scene.

Idea 2

Purpose
An app for dog owners to meet other dog owners in their area and arrange walks together and set up play dates for their dogs.

Format/Style/Content
Users set up a profile for their dog including breed, likes, dislikes etc and a short bio for themselves. The homepage will list dogs/owners within their area that match to some of their dogs likes. A messaging system within the app will allow people to arrange a dog walk together walk.

Target User
This app is for anyone over the age of 18 although I think it'll probably appeal most to people over the age of 35.

Idea 3

Purpose
The purpose of the app is to allow people who follow a vegan lifestyle to share recipes and tips about cooking/eating.

Format/Style/Content
It will have a simple layout where the user can upload and save recipes and cooking tip to their profile. It will have categories to list different types of food and meals under. 

Target User
This app is mainly targeted at vegans of any age. It may also appeal to people who are interested in eating less animal products or for people who need help transitioning to vegan.
