Purpose
The Purpose of this app is to let unsigned bands and artists share upcoming shows with fans who enjoy discovering new music and attending smaller gigs. This app will help fan who enjoy going to small shows as a lot of the time it is difficult to find out about them unless you know specific venues that might put the on.
Content
The content on this app will be user based, all upcoming shows that are listed on the home page would have been put up by the artists themselves. For each gig it will show the venue, time and any other relevant information such as support bands etc. Users signed in as fans can tailor shows that show on their homepage by putting in their location and setting up maximum distance that they'd would want to travel for a gig, this way only shows that is within this radius would be listed on their homepage.
Target User
This app is aimed at small bands and artist who want to try and gain more fans by bringing a bigger audience to their shows. This would appeal to artists of any age and genre. In terms of 'fans' I think this app would mostly be used by people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are big fans of supporting smaller bands and attending more intimate concerts.

I think with an app this like this that has a more niche target user, it would be difficult to make a lot of money through advertising. However i also think that the smaller artists wouldn't really be prepared to pay a premium within the app. I think the best way to gain revenue would be for a one off cost of 69p when the user first downloads the app.

Surely you have different kinds of target users - Bands , Fans and Promoters?
ReplyDeleteThe production schedule needs to be more detailed and needs a clearly marked launch date . Putting it in a table would help.
revenue stream is not detailed enough. You could make money out of adverts but would need to know haw many users you need for viability?
All designs need to be moved to P6 and to reach high grades you need to populate with profile pictures and more content. I also cant see how I navigate away from the Homepage?
Flow diagram is also to brief to hit M criteria. It needs detail to show content of pages and interconnectivity with other social media.
